Doar 26% dintre romani stiu sa foloseasca un computer, releva
Barometrul de Opinie Publica, editia octombrie, realizat de
Gallup Romania, la comanda Fundatiei pentru o Societate Deschisa.
In
mediul urban procentul celor care utilizeaza
calculatorul este mai mare decat al locuitorilor din mediul
rural:
38%, fata de 11% la tara. Doar 13% dintre subiecti doresc
sa urmeze un curs pentru a invata sa lucreze pe calculator.

Mai multi romani care se ocupa de administrarea unor site-uri
(webmaster) ale diaspora au decis sa participe la o campanie
cu
dublu scop: de mobilizare a romanilor pentru votul din noiembrie
si
de protest fata de limitarile posibilitatii de vot in
strainatate introduse de noua Lege electorala. Initiatorii campaniei
sint Cosmin Paun, din Elvetia, si Ciprian Dinica, din
Germania. Pina acum au aderat la campanie site-uri romanesti
din
Canada, Italia, Statele Unite, Franta si Marea Britanie.

A policy brief released by democratic think tank Progressive

what “electronic administration” (e-government)
means.
However, almost half of them have already used an e-government
service.
Commissioned by the European Electronic Administration Forum

research
firm BVA in early October among a representative sample of citizens.

280,000 people living in the Vogtland region along the German-Czech
border will soon be able to purchase bus and train
tickets by mobile phone.
Lower costs, higher revenues and improved customer relations
are some
of the benefits the transportation authority is
anticipating from mobile ticket sales. But users will also benefit
from the new service, as they will no longer have to wait
in line at the ticket machine, and will enjoy the convenience
of
being invoiced by direct debit.
