Parlamentului Romaniei pe Internet. Pe baza analizei, sunt identificate
aspectele pozitive si elementele ce necesita imbunatatiri, pentru
a facilita accesul la informatii si pentru a face procesul legislativ

rand.

05.>>>>ODPM plans online voter register
…(KableNET.com: 20/05/2004)
The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister is asking councils for
their
views on plans for a national online elections register. Known
as CORE
(the co-ordinated online register of electors) the proposals
aim to
standardise local registers allowing users to access data centrally.
The
project would play a key role in an e-enabled general election,
which
the government has said it hopes to hold "sometime after 2006".

E-GOVERNMENT
06.>>>>The 411 on e-gov
…(FCW.com: 25/05/2004)
E-government has expanded worldwide and through all layers of
government.
With that in mind, Federal Computer Week has compiled a list
of
nonfederal e-government Web sites. The 10 sites profiled offer
perspectives on digital government from research organizations,
academic
institutions and European governing bodies.

07.>>>>E-gov progress on OMB scorecard shifts little
…(GCN.com: 18/05/2004)
Even after two years of evaluations by the Office of Management
and
Budget, agencies still cannot meet the administration’s goals
for
e-government. OMB released the latest President’s Management
Agenda
scorecard for January through March and only two agencies improved
their
scores since the last ratings in December. The State Department
and the
U.S. Agency for International Development moved to yellow from
red,
while the other 24 agency scores remained the same—two greens,
11
yellows and 11 reds.

Added Tax
(VAT) declarations through one single European electronic portal.

11.>>>>India's new challenge on technology policy
…(SciDev.net: 17/05/2004)
The surprise defeat of the BJP in last week's Indian election
appears to
reflect widespread resentment that the benefits of rapid technological
innovation have reached only a relatively small section of society.
This
has implications for the whole developing world.
