In Romania sunt aproximativ 2 milioane de persone cu acces la
Internet.
Costurile pentru proiectarea si editarea unui ziar pe Internet
sunt de
cateva ori mai mici decat pe hartie. Editarea on-line cu investitii
minime te poate scuti in mare parte de temenele si pupincurism
la adresa
finantatorilor si sponsorilor de partid.

Portalul Primariei Timisoara (www.primariatm.ro) a primit un
premiu in
competitia EuroCrest 2004, pentru cel mai bun sit web de administratie
publica locala din Europa.
Competitia este sustinuta de catre Asociatia Golden Crest si
are drept
scop imbunatatirea calitatii serviciilor din administratiile
publice,
cit si accesul mai facil al cetateanului la aceste servicii.

Termenul de afisare a expirat dar nu toate judetele s-au conformat
legii. Declaratiile de avere ale candidatilor pentru functia
de primar
si de consilier judetean sau local ar trebui publicate pe paginile
de
Internet ale consiliilor judetene, in termen de cinci zile de
la data
depunerii candidaturii. Termenul final pentru depunerea candidaturilor
a
fost 8 mai, ora 24.00 iar cel pentru afisarea declaratiilor
de avere a
expirat pe 13 mai.

La nivel central (national sau federal), cu functionalitati

consultarea si trimiterea documentelor de licitatie in format
electronic, exista in lume 12 sisteme electronice destinate
realizarii
de achizitii publice online, dintre care 5 sunt in Europa: Romania,
Italia, Norvegia, Finlanda si Germania. Sistemul romanesc este
cel mai
complet in ceea ce priveste criteriile luate in calcul pentru
evaluare,
sistemul norvegian fiind singurul comparabil din acest punct
de vedere,
asa cum se poate vedea din consultarea hartii virtuale puse
