112, precum si echipamentul necesar conectarii dintre centrele
de preluare a apelurilor 112 si agentiile dispecer, informeaza
un comunicat al Ericsson Romania. Compania Ericsson va ocupa
pozitia de furnizor principal atat in ceea ce priveste echipamentul,
cat si ca integrator.

The IRS yesterday rolled out improvements to the Electronic
Federal Tax Payment System Web site that will let taxpayers
schedule and track payments more conveniently.
EFTPS-OnLine, at www.eftps.gov, is a joint site run by the Treasury
Department and its IRS and Financial Management Service bureaus.
It lets taxpayers make federal tax payments electronically.

China's Internet population hit 68 million in June –-
the second highest in the world.
The number of Internet users in the country is growing rapidly.
At the end of 2000, the figure was only 8.9 million, according

Network Information Centre (CNNIC). Only the United States has
more citizens online.

and France was held on 08/7/2003 in Issy-les-Moulineaux near
Paris. Organised by the “Club du e-Public”, an association

actors to pitch their viewpoints on the state of e-democracy
in their respective countries.

The Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry published on 08/07/2003
a national strategy for securing ICT systems in the country.
The strategy proposes 40 initiatives for improving e-security,

its work, the European Commission is extending its EUROPE DIRECT
service a concrete example of efforts to bring Europe closer
