03.>>>>Paradoxul licitatiilor electronice din sanatate
.(Curentul: 06/09/2003)
Licitatiile electronice dau mari batai de cap directorilor
de spitale. Pe
de-o parte, multi dintre acestia trebuie sa achizitioneze
medicamente si
materiale sanitare la preturi foarte mici, si din acest motiv
furnizorii nu
sunt interesati sa liciteze. Pe de alta parte, licitatiile
electronice
blocheaza accesul micilor producatori de produse agricole
necesare hranei
bolnavilor, de pilda incurajand intermediarii si implicit
preturile mai
mari.

08.>>>>A Digital Divide Unconquered
...(Washington Post: 28/08/2003)
You don't hear as much about the "digital divide" anymore,
but people like
Janet Lathan believe it never went away and in some ways is
worsening.

(EU Business: 30/08/2003)
While a growing number of people in western Europe enjoy high-speed
Internet

web, if at all,
through slow dial-up connections.

The Internet offers myriad opportunities for political candidates,
including
fundraising from supporters and advertising for new voters,
according to a
new study. The survey, commissioned by the Online Publishers
Association
(OPA) in conjunction with the University of Connecticut's
Center for Survey

.(GCN.com:08/09/2003)
Federal e-government projects ultimately will be only as good

Office of Management and Budget's Quicksilver initiatives,
the guarantor is
the E-Authentication Gateway, which is entering the last stages
of
development.

has recently been carried out and published by an academic
from the
Polytechnic University of Valencia in Spain. The report "Understanding
the
e-Government Policy of the European Union", by Prof. Antonio

carried out
by some international organisations such as the United Nations
and the OECD.
